PIT 6: From Domestic Violence to Investing Security with Alison Newman

The following content contains references to and descriptions of a domestic violence incident.

Parts of this episode may be hard to hear for some people. At the same time, it is a very inspiring and uplifting story about overcoming a challenge as destabilising as domestic violence.

On this episode I have the privilege of interviewing Alison Newman. Alison is a single mum of two young boys who purchased her first property at the age of 23.

Alison hasn’t had it easy in life, but she hasn’t let that define her. Not only raising her two boys as a single parent, but going through a messy divorce after experiencing domestic violence is enough for most people to never really master their wealth.

Throughout this episode you will hear Alison’s story and how she won’t let anything stop her from being a shining example to her children.
